The Italian name for Pinot Gris, this grape is a white mutation of the Pinot family (although the grapes are sometimes pink-skinned). Well known for producing dry white wines of a clean & simple style, which is achieved through the use of stainless steel tanks during fermentation & storage. Common characteristics can include notes of lemon, lime, green apple & blossom aromas. A lighter, crisper alternative to Pinot Gris.
