Rich, red wines famously made in the traditional ‘Classico’ zone of Valpolicella in Veneto, Italy. The wines are made using a blend of grapes, predominantly Corvina. All Amarone wines are made using the apassimento technique - grapes are partially dried, gently pressed & slowly fermented, before ageing in wood for at least 2 years. Classic examples are aromatic, elegant & full-bodied.
